I graduated from the University of Queensland, in Brisbane, in 2006. This is also where I met my wife, Stef (another one of our vets). I started my career with a short stint in Ipswich working mainly with small animals but also undertaking some dairy cow work.
Following this Stef and I moved to the beautiful Gold Coast. After three years in small animal practice on the northern Gold Coast Stef and I left for the UK where we worked and travelled for the best part of three years. On arrival back to the golden shores of Australia I worked as a locum vet all around South-East Queensland for three years.
It was in 2014 that I got back into contact with long term friend Justin, and Stef and I have since settled in for the long term on the Gold Coast. Justin and I have enjoyed renewing the old touch football partnership from years before, although now we do most of our running around in the clinic as we work together to manage Reedy Creek Veterinary Surgery.
In 2020 Stef and I welcomed our beautiful daughter Freya. Although our cats, Cleo and Tigger, have taken on a large role in the parenting process!
I enjoy all aspects of general medicine and surgery and having worked in, and with, so many vets and vet practices I can bring a different angle to day-to-day challenges. When not at work I enjoy tennis, touch football, hiking, camping, fly fishing and have recently taken up surfing.
