IN HOUSE BLOOD TESTS

At Reedy Creek Veterinary Surgery, we offer a broad array of in-clinic laboratory diagnostic tests. These include blood tests such as complete blood counts, biochemistry, electrolytes and blood gases, as well as urine tests, faecal tests, infectious disease assays and cytology from aspirates.

Having an in house laboratory allows us to runs tests and receive results within minutes, allowing us to offer:

• Pre-anaesthetic blood tests in pets undergoing same day anaesthesia and surgical procedure
• Comprehensive panels for sick patients who need urgent diagnoses and treatment
• Routine health screening and monitoring within your consultation

Beyond our own laboratory, we have affiliations with multiple external laboratories to complement the range of in-house services we can supply.  Samples for these laboratories are collected by our team and picked up by the laboratories couriers on the same day.
